About

Transformation lives in people, more than in process, technology, or AI.

Real change happens in the moments of tension, disruption, and choice, and my work sits exactly there. Frameworks, tooling, and now AI can carry an enormous amount, but vision and creativity remain with the human being: in motion, evolving, flowing. That is where I focus, and it is what everything else on this site comes back to.

I'm El, a product management and agile delivery leader with 19 years across financial services, telecoms, and technology. I help organizations build the right products the right way: combining product strategy, proven delivery methodology, and a deep understanding of what actually drives meaningful human change. I began close to the work as a business analyst, led my first large-scale transformation in 2014 as the shift from waterfall to agile was reshaping how everyone worked, and I have lived at the intersection of product, delivery, and people ever since.

Transformation lives in people — more than in process, technology, or AI

What sets me apart

A few things set me apart, and it is the combination that is rare. I'm a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) who coaches organizations through scaled agile, and I hold an MSc in Psychotherapy Studies, earned alongside my career, through every spare minute and a lot of late nights.

My thesis, Being, Boundaries, and Digital Psychotherapy, asks what happens to human connection when care moves onto screens and AI platforms. Reading across four kinds of boundary (medium, role, setting, and temporal) through an existential and phenomenological lens, I argue that boundaries aren't bureaucratic constraints. They're ontological structures that protect genuine encounter: the guardians of the space where real presence becomes possible.

None of this is only professional for me. I've spent fifteen years in my own therapy - the long, patient work of growth: learning secure attachment, pursuing joy, and becoming the fullest version of myself. So when I sit with a leader in a genuinely hard moment, I'm working from the inside of that experience, not just the theory of it. I can hold space because I know what it is to be held.

Boundaries make the play possible

That idea travels directly into how teams work. Take the lines off a football pitch and you don't get a freer game, you get no game. Agile is the same: it doesn't mean no boundaries. The sprint and the cadence are the field lines that make the play possible. But draw them too rigidly, think VAR, and you strangle the very soul you meant to protect.

The art isn't having boundaries or losing them. It's knowing how to hold them: firmly enough to protect the play, lightly enough to let it breathe. Much of my work is helping leaders and teams hold those lines well — and recognize the moments of tension, disruption, and choice where genuine transformation becomes possible, working with those moments rather than around them. That is the difference between people who comply with a new way of working and people who actually change.

An evidence-led way to start

Most recently, I launched an enterprise assessment product that diagnoses an organization's transformation focus areas and surfaces immediate wins. It is grounded in research science, but it compresses what is usually a months-long scoping exercise into a fraction of the time, helping businesses prioritize the changes that maximize economic return. It turns transformation from a guessing game into an evidence-led investment: you start by knowing where you genuinely are and where the return actually is, rather than betting on it.

How I work

My product and delivery expertise reinforce each other: strong product thinking makes agile meaningful, and strong delivery practices make product strategy real.

On the product side, I drive discovery, shape roadmaps, define outcomes, and align stakeholders around meaningful value. I coach Product Owners and Product Managers on prioritization, backlog health, and connecting day-to-day delivery to strategic intent.

On the delivery side, my expertise spans Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe - designing Agile Release Trains, facilitating ceremonies and remote PI planning, and guiding leadership through Lean Portfolio Management and DevOps adoption.

I've led portfolio-level transformations, coached remote and hybrid teams through organizational restructures, and helped enterprises implement scaled agile while keeping human outcomes at the center. The results tend to look the same: improved velocity, reduced cycle times, better stakeholder alignment, and products that genuinely serve the people who use them - all while building resilient, autonomous teams.

What you'll find here

This site is where I share what I've actually seen: real examples, generalized and de-identified, alongside the latest ways of working, so that leaders and coaches facing the same challenges have language for what they're living and a clearer sense of what actually helps. It is written for the people inside transformation, not observing it from the outside.

Working together

There are two ways I work with people directly. The enterprise assessment gives you an honest, evidence-led read of where your transformation genuinely stands and where the fastest, highest-return wins are. And one-on-one coaching supports leaders through the human side of change - the part no framework covers. Both start with a conversation.
